This is a high quality print of a painting of Waylands Smithy, the atmospheric long barrow ancient burial ground site near White Horse hill near Uffington in Oxfordshire. I didn't want the painting to be too dark and reminiscent of a burial mound, so painted it from sketches I made there on a lovely October afternoon, to include some bright colours from the Autumn trees and fallen leaves all around .
