DRAWING & PAINTING CLASSES FOR BEGINNERS & IMPROVERS

AUTUMN TERM DATES 2017:

LANGFORD:  WEDS OCT 11TH - NOV 8TH 2017

STANDLAKE: THURS OCT 12TH  - NOV 9TH 2017. This term we are working with pen and wash (watercolour and/or ink)

Classes cover many aspects of drawing and painting including composition and colour mixing and I encourage students to try different media (including acrylics, charcoal, oil pastels and watercolour) and approaches to working. We are quite relaxed and friendly and I focus on getting the best out of each individual and developing confidence in their own creativity.

The cost is presently £14.50 per 2hr session if payable in 5-7 week blocks in advance on first day of attendance, (can be paid in two separate payments if preferred) which includes tea/coffee and biscuits refreshments at a half-way break. Some basic materials are available as needed although students are encouraged to bring their own after the first session.

Single classes are available at a cost of £16 per class. If you missed the first few sessions, don't worry, there is plenty of time to catch up!

Please email me from the 'Contact' page for any information, venue directions and further details, or directly at

TESTIMONIALS:

'Michele's classes are structured with a theme and a particular medium each week. She gives an informative demonstration before we begin our own work and expert guidance throughout the class. She is always encouraging and at the same time helpfully critical. All in all an excellent teacher.                                        Patricia Montgomery

'Michele's class is always fun and informative. I feel I have learnt a great deal and have been stimulated to get my paints out at home and carry on where her inspired teaching leaves me each week!    Sally Hadley

'Art classes with Michele are so motivating. She manages to bring out the full potential of all her students. It doesn't matter if we haven't participated in any art since distant school days, Michele manages to find the artist in us.'                                            Phyllida Shrimpton
