This is a striking painting of a lovely hellebore flower from my garden.
I have used acrylic paints but more as watercolour so painted 'wet-in-wet' for a softer effect. The colours are a dramatic combination of blues, pinks, mauves and greens with a little dark edging.
Painted on board and framed with a mount in a painted white wood frame 16'x16'.
