Ridgeway Ramble
A large striking painting of the Ridgeway ancient chalk wayfair that stretches from Avebury in Wiltshire to Ivinghoe Beacon in the Chilterns. It has always been favourite and peaceful place to take a walk, observe nature and oversee the surrounding countryside and this is a stretch near Wantage in Oxfordshire and the part that I am most familiar with.
The painting is done on Saunders Waterford slightly textured 'not' paper and I have used watercolours with a little wax pastel for resist as well as a touch of Indian ink using shades of green, pinks, whites and greys. It comes mounted and framed
Available as a limited edition giclee print, please see that section of the website.
