From the Thames Path at Radcot
I am always walking along the river Thames with my dog Maisie as I only live a short distance from it. I am always inspired by the views along the river. It doesn't matter how busy the rest of Oxfordshire is, time seems to slow down on the river. There are all manner of wildlife there and the plants are left to grow wild which I love, nothing seems to be 'managed'! This is a painting is a loose interpretation of a weeping willow bending forward across the river and footpath. Painted wet-in-wet with high quality watercolours on handmade Khadi paper. Mounted in a warm white mount and framed in blue washed wood frame.
Available as a limited edition giclee print
