View from the Paris Hotel, Coverack
This Summer I had a lovely holiday in West Cornwall and my head is full of images of the sea still! This watercolour painting was done from a 'plein air' sketch sitting outside at the Paris Inn, Coverack. There was a fantastic array of wild flowers everywhere in Cornwall and here on the cliff top the ones that stand out are a wild pink mallow. The view is looking to the Headland Hotel building perched to one side.
I have used watercolours on a handmade textured Indian Khadi paper, comes mounted and framed in a white painted wood frame.
