Walking through Abingdon-on-Thames recently I was inspired by the Autumn colours, the view of St Helen's church and the river and boats, what more could I ask for! I did a quick watercolour sketch and took a few photographs and this is the resulting painting.
Painted using watercolour and a little penwork here and there. I hope I have captured the feel of the vibrant colour and warmth of that Autumn day!
Actual image size is 10.25'x14.5', mounted in a warm white mount and framed in an oak frame 16'x20' approx 2' wide, 1' deep.
