MIXED MEDIA PAINTINGS, PRINTS AND DRAWINGS
I paint many different subjects and use a variety of media including watercolour, acrylics, collage or oils.
Drawing is at the heart of my work and I also enjoy experimenting with different forms of mark-making and creating surface texture to give an impressionist result. I like to leave something to the viewer's imagination
I regularly add new images as I finish pictures and am able to upload them.
I also teach adults at my local village hall and occasionally at West Ox Arts Gallery in Bampton, Oxon
EXHIBITIONS 2012
ARTWEEKS- Unfortunately I am unable to do my usual exhibtion as part of Oxfordshire Artweeks this year as my Mum is having quite a serious operation in May, so I will need to be on hand. However, I will be having an exhibition shortly after at:

APRIL 2012 -CLASSES
WEEKLY DRAWING & PAINTING CLASS: Tuesday mornings at the local village hall in Kencot , Nr Clanfield, from 10am to 12noon. SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS AND 'IMPROVERS'
Classes are small and friendly and aimed at students who have a t least a little prior knowledge of painting and/or drawing. We work in a variety of media including pencil, charcoal, watercolour and acrylics. The focus is on observational drawing as well as learning different painting techniques and developing the students own way of working. The cost is £12 per session or £11 if paid in advance in 'blocks' usually of between 5-7 classes depending on the term length. The cost includes tea/coffee and biscuits at a half-way break and some basic materials as needed.
